ALERT! Special Music for the summer—If you would like to offer your musical gifts, please contact the office. July 13 and 27 are open.
MARTINEZTOWN On the first Sunday of each month we set at the “Lord’s Table” and partake of the “food” which God has provided to the World. We bring our gifts of food and set them under the table to be taken into the World in God’s name. We will do this again on July 6 for Martineztown.
Martineztown is looking for retired teachers to volunteer as substitute teachers. You will be called on to substitute only if there is a shortage of teachers for that day. If you would be interested please call Marie Kenny at 881-4323 or e-mail at Kenny_M@aps.edu. The only requirement is that you have taught in preschool or grades K-5 and you will need to be fingerprinted (state requirement).
DON’T FORGET: 2 CENTS A MEAL donations received first Sunday of every month. The little black collection bucket will be under communion table.
Church Women United in Albuquerque and the surrounding area, an ecumenical Christian women's movement, is seeking a volunteer with computer skills to aid in producing a 1-2 page monthly newsletter. Next issue will be produced in August. Interested or have questions? Contact the office.
This Summer at Ghost Ranch, NM August 4-10 – FIFTH ANNUAL MULTICULTURAL CHURCH INSTITUTE. Building Community – Dismantling Racism will feature dialogue and discovery that focuses on understanding the ways racism continues to shape our lives and explore resource and strategies to dismantle racism and build community.
