Christian Education

Mission Statement

Guided by the Holy Spirit, we believe it is our responsibility to take seriously our baptismal vows to nurture, educate, and guide the church community in the teaching, example, and living word of Christ.

St. Andrew strives to meet the Christian Education needs of all it\'s congregants. With adult classes, children\'s classes, youth group, nursery, groups for women, men, and people who like to read, we are working toward the goal of a church of people whose spiritual growth is a life-long journey.

Christian Education

Christian Education meets after worship service on Sundays from 11:00-12:00. Christian Education is provided for children from 2-18, and for adults. Nursery care is available for children under 2.

Children in the nursery are encouraged to spend the first part of church with their parents. Worship bags are provided to assist children with participation in worship. Peace Camp

Every summer St. Andrew has a dynamic, mission focused, vacation bible school. The program focuses on understanding people from other countries and cultures in an effort toward Peacemaking. In addition to learning about the culture through art, dance, music and language, children ages 4-5th grade also raise money for that region. In the past, peace camp has focused on Africa, and the Navajo people.

This year, Peace camp will center around Immigration.
